Working Conditions

The CEC supports a hybrid workplace model with office-based and remote-centered workers. Limited in-person attendance and occasional travel may be required based on the needs of the division. Regular and consistent attendance is essential to successful performance.

This position is remote-centered, which means the incumbent works 50 percent or more of their time from an alternate work location.

-1. Experience supervising multidisciplinary teams developing, enhancing and maintaining software tools and manuals on schedule and within budget that meet design specifications.

  • Experience developing technical requirements and test plans for software that cost effectively meets user needs.
  • Experience with leadership principles and practices.
  • Ability to effectively motivate others and manage high-performance teams.
  • Experience supervising a diverse team, managing individual and team performance, and coordinating a portfolio of project and program plans.
  • Ability to proactively solve problems, identify and assess alternatives, and develop informed recommendations on complex topics.
  • Knowledge of technical and or policy matters pertaining to energy efficiency, building decarbonization, and/or load flexibility topics including state, national, and local policies; emerging technologies and measures;
