    Managing Partner/Executive Recruiter at Next Level Resources

    A stable, fast growing corporation in the real estate industry is currently seeking a Senior Accountant. This is a highly visible position and will work closely with the CFO and Controller.
    This position will be responsible for the accounting operations of the various management entities and investments.

    THE ROLE

    • Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close.
    • Support the timely reporting of all monthly financial information
    • Prepare journal entries for monthly close.
    • Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts on a monthly basis
    • Monitor and manager tax filings, including reconciliation of tax liability accounts to payments and tax filings
    • Reconciliation of various accounts pertain to Lease Accounting
    • Process base rent and percent rent payment on a monthly basis
    Identification, recording, valuation, accounting, reporting and timely capitalization of capital projects, review and update the fixed asset rollforward schedulesREQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelors' Degree in Accounting.
    • 3+ years' experience
    • CPA highly preferred
    • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to multi-task and manage several projects or tasks simultaneously.
    • Proficient with Excel (advanced), Word and Outlook.
