Join us and become part of our dynamic team teaching engineering and technology to kids at the most exciting STEM Camps. If you have a passion for Engineering, Robotics, Game Design, or Minecraft, and enjoy working with children, then we want to hear from you!

In this role as an Engineering for Kids Coach, you will be responsible for motivating your students and providing them with top-quality education. You will receive thorough training on our curriculum and tools to deliver personalized instruction.

We are seeking STEM coaches with outstanding leadership abilities whom we will train to lead our summer camp programs.

Your main responsibilities will include:
Teaching Engineering for Kids programs
Managing class operations, overseeing inventory, building curriculum-based projects, supervising assistant teachers and students
Establishing rapport with parents and students, creating an enjoyable learning atmosphere
Communicating student progress and challenges to the Program Manager
Maintaining a positive attitude and showing passion for teaching our curriculum

Requirements:

Availability from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday, throughout the summer season
High energy and enthusiasm
Love for working with children
Ability to work autonomously
Flexibility and reliability
Access to reliable transportation
Must obtain a Fingerprint Clearance Card

Preference will be given to candidates with a background in education or training, and those currently pursuing a degree in education or engineering.

Apprentice Camp Coaches (Age 8+)

- Experience in computer science, programming, robotics, or Minecraft is preferred

Junior Camp Coaches (Ages 4-7)

- Previous experience or education in early childcare/early elementary is preferred, or currently pursuing a degree in early elementary education.

Full-time seasonal position with the potential to continue part-time in the fall.

Compensation: $575 per week

Engineering For Kids offers a STEM-based program that provides hands-on, project-based learning for children from PreK4 to 8th grade. We are dedicated to our programs because we understand that early exposure to STEM education can profoundly impact a child's future.
