- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent engineering field.
- Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software and Creo preferred.
- Understanding of structural load calculations such as beams, runways, wheel loads, and crane loads.
- Ability to conduct detailed design calculations for steel and concrete structures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Capacity to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining deadlines and budgets.
- Prior experience in engineering and project management is advantageous.
- Familiarity with safety policies relevant to Simmers Crane Design & Services, OSHA standards, and customer requirements.
- Technical knowledge including the planning and preparation of material orders and delivery.
- Perform calculations for the design and analysis of crane supporting structures and related components.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable design specifications; maintain thorough records.
- Collaborate with sales teams on work proposals; manage projects from initiation to completion.
- Direct supervision over subcontractors and technicians for project fulfillment.
- Maintain punctuality regarding material orders/deliveries aligned with project demands.
- Collecting and interpreting data relevant to the project scope.
- Adherence to safety policies; prepare necessary documentation like invoicing and project closeout reports.
