    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (May include but not limited to the following)

    Ø Delivers training lessons to new and existing employees on knowledge modules and SOP's consistent with the DC's Personal Growth and Development Matrix. Uses structured training methods to deliver training and confirm comprehension.

    Ø Delivers training to employees on new SOP's, SOP updates, policy changes and other items requiring employee understanding and compliance

    Ø Provides new employees with full orientation and on-boarding and reviews a personal training plan for new employee's on-boarding period

    Ø Provides feedback and coaching to employees in a constructive manner to insure skill development and proficiency

    Ø Schedules and coordinates others to delivery specific knowledge or skill modules as needed to supplement areas the trainer is proficient in.

    Ø Administers qualifications / certifications on knowledge modules and SOP's

    Ø Assists in maintaining training records and documentation for training and qualifications

    Ø Monitors employee proficiency and compliance to SOP's and provides adjusting feedback and / or re-training as appropriate to insure optimal performance

    Ø Collaborates with other trainers to ensure consistency in approach, to share best practices and to generate improvement ideas

    Ø Provides input to operational SOP's and knowledge modules based on functional DC knowledge and feedback from trainees

    Ø Commits to accelerated personal development as the company employee and trainer, actively learns about the business and develops additional proficiency in DC technical skill areas

    Ø Participates in daily business meetings as appropriate to gain insight into the business, provide updates and to contribute to ongoing improvements

    Ø Participates in weekly training meetings to check in with new hire progress, long term training initiatives and actions items

    Ø Performs other core job duties from time to time consistent with skills during times that volume requires and when training is not taking place (i.e. Picking, receiving, etc.)

    KEY PERFROMANCE METRICS: (How performance will be evaluated)

    Ø Completion of training and qualifications for employees per plan

    Ø On time completion of weekly action items

    Ø Level of operational proficiency and SOP compliance being demonstrated by employees that have been trained and qualified

    Ø Level of retention of new employees in first 3 months

    Ø 100% complete, accurate and up to date training records

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

    Knowledge of:

    Ø Material Handling (order picking at a minimum) functions in the DC. This implies proficiency in the operation of related DC equipment and knowledge of relevant SOPs.

    Ø Thorough knowledge of Company Business Basics for the company and the DCF

    Skills and abilities:

    Ø Ability to communicate, interact and deliver training in an energizing and inspiring manner

    Ø Understand and rigorously follow a structured training delivery approach; completes a "Train The Trainer" program

    Ø Provide constructive reinforcing or adjusting feedback regarding training proficiency to others in a way that reinforces learning and maintains a positive working environment. Must be comfortable giving feedback to and coaching others in the performance of their work.

    Ø Effectively monitor employee work performance to determine if more or different training is required

    Ø Ability to coordinate the work of others; set priorities; maintain positive employee relations climate

    Ø Work well independently and maintain an excellent attendance record

    Ø Work overtime as needed and potentially work different shifts as business needs dictate to deliver needed training

    Ø Maintain excellent two-way communication with supervisors, CI Coordinator and other DC employees

    Ø Record and maintain a variety of documents and records

    Ø Perform basic math computations such as add, subtract, multiply and divide

    Ø Working proficiency with Excel, MS Word, Outlook for e-mail

    Ø Meet schedules/timelines as well as plan and organize own work

    Ø Work effectively as a team member

    Education and /or Experience Requirements:

    Ø High school diploma or equivalent is required

    Ø Must be able to read, write and speak English

    Ø Prior experience in warehouse operations as material handler (order picking)

    Ø Familiarity with WMS systems and RF device operation

    Ø Proficient in basic Excel, Work, Outlook
