About Us:

Relief Mental Health was founded in February of 2020. Within these 4 years we have expanded to 10 new offices across Illinois, Wisconsin, and New Jersey.

We aim to create a new standard for mental health care, offering a continuum of innovative therapeutic interventions and responding to evolving patient needs.


Job Summary:


Responsibilities:


  • Greet and assist visitors and patients when they arrive at the office
  • Review all patient paperwork and mental health assessments
  • Assist with phone calls from patients
  • Coordinate the daily administrative activities, including but not limited to scheduling, entering patient data in the EHR system, patient checkin and checkout, rooming patients, patient medical record maintenance, etc.
  • Preparation and upkeep of exam and treatment rooms
  • Obtain and record patient medical histories, test results, and other information for medical records while maintaining strict confidentiality
  • Assist providers with performing basic vital signs and point of care testing (urine drug screens and pregnancy tests) and other patient care
  • Assist providers with pharmacy calls regarding prescription questions and issues
  • Assist in prior authorizations for medications
  • Assist with printing and faxing documents
  • Follow office workflow procedures to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Deliver compassionate support, attention, and assistance to patients and families
  • Ensure compliance with all health care regulations, including HIPAA

Skills:


  • Psychiatric specific experience HIGHLY preferred
  • Previous experience assisting providers with medication management preferred but not required
  • Phlebotomy experience preferred but not required
  • Previous experience with EHR systems
  • Kareo is a plus
  • Previous experience with Google Drive
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills
  • Extremely detailoriented and organized

Qualifications:


  • High School diploma, Medical Assistant Certification or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical health care record system preferred, not required.

Physical Demands:


  • Ability to lift a minimum of 20 lbs moving or assisting patient to bathrooms may be required
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during shift
