- Responsible for the recruiting, on-boarding, and training process by screening resumes, interviewing, and conducting new hire orientations
- Conducts reference, employment eligibility, drug testing, and background checks on job applicants
- Provides continuous guidance and service to management team on daily employee relations and performance management opportunities; displays strength in conflict resolution and negotiation
- Understands current federal and state regulations including (but not limited to): Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
- Maintains and updates human resources documents, such as organizational charts, employee handbooks, directories, and performance evaluation forms
- Analyzes employment-related data and prepares required reports
- Proactively influences change to improve current policies and procedures
- Bachelor's degree preferred in HR Management, Business Administration, or General Business
- 3-5 years' experience in an HR Generalist role
- Experience with Paylocity a plus
- Strong MS Office skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Adaptable, tech-savvy, and detail oriented
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision

Human Resources Generalist – Buffalo Grove, IL
$75,000 - $85,000/Annually plus bonus, medical, dental, and 401k benefits
Our well-known and established manufacturing company is in search of an experienced HR Generalist who will primarily be responsible for the completion of a variety of HR functions. The HR Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with other members of the HR team supporting the overall mission of the company. The ideal candidate will play an integral role in recruiting, employee relations and performance management, along with fostering and developing positive business relationships with associates and senior executives alike.
