- Plans and monitors inventory stock levels for materials used in the manufacturing process
- Collaborates with equipment and process teams to optimize inventory to support production needs
- Review of processes to ensure optimal cost, quality, delivery and safety of materials
- Coordinates and controls availability of re-usable components
- Coordinates delivery, purchase order discrepancies, and counts of consigned materials with suppliers.
- Timely communication of shortage status and potential supply issues to stakeholders that include reducing supply risk actions and future corrective action
- Coordinates and controls receipt
- Collaborate with suppliers, sourcing buyers, accounts payable, and equipment and process teams to balance inventory cost and ensure supply continuity. Communicates demand fluctuations and supplier performance feedback to sourcing buyers
- Creates and maintains part numbers and purchasing conditions in enterprise wide systems
- Analyzes and judges inventory levels and demand to determine planning parameters (e.g. reorder levels) to ensure product availability and minimize inventory costs
- Obtains and evaluates material requirement planning information across departments and sites using data-based decision making.
- Develops standardized processes, drives continuous improvement activities, and reduce risk; optimizing logistical supply processes.
- Observers Subject Matter Experts and writes clear, concise, accurate and precise documents.
- Reviews and edit materials submitted from Quality and Technical team members.
- Must have strong written communication skills, knowledge of, Microsoft Word, Access, and Excel programs, and ability to write in user friendly terms and specific details. MadCap Flare or similar preferred.
- Must be able to work independently with limited supervision. Create and maintain complex documentation sets, involving highly technical material, under limited supervision.
- Identifies, plans for and revises technical writing project requirements, and researches complex source material for these projects.
- Helps to identify and implement standards and process improvements.
- Performs simultaneous task and project coordination for multiple projects.
- Attends and contribute to product/project team meetings.
- Works with contributors and technical resources to improve document quality and usability.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Education- Bachelor's degree, college or equivalent education in an economic area with distinctive interest into the technical field or a university degree, college degree or equivalent education in a technical area along with solid business knowledge and skills.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years previous material planning experience.
- Fluency in English Language - written & verbal
- High proficiency with spreadsheets and data analysis.
- Well-founded Excel expert skills, ideally including macro and VBA programming skills.
- Strong knowledge or planning and purchasing systems.
- Solid understanding of concepts of inventory flow throughout the supply chain.
- Strong understanding of concepts of inventory management and distribution planning.
- Ability to develop and provide reports to satisfy ongoing inquires on inventory and availability.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate critical information.
- Good problem solving and reasoning skills to effectively deal with problems varying in complexity.
- Basic negotiation skills.

Job Summary:
The employee is responsible for operational planning and purchase execution of all manufacturing materials, spare and wear parts, and supplies stored in warehouse and bulk tanks in support of daily operations of East Fishkill semiconductor manufacturing facility. The employee is responsible for procurement system data input and integrity, as well as identification and management of strategic supply planning projects.
Responsibilities include:

onsemi is excited to share the base salary range for this position is $62,500 to $109,500 exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of internal equity of our current team members. We also offer a competitive benefits package.
