Position Summary
OSIbeyond is a rapidly growing IT consulting firm based in Rockville, Maryland providing Managed IT and Cybersecurity services. We are seeking a Part Time HR and Administration Generalist to support our growing business operations.

The HR and Administration Generalist is responsible for the day-to-day HR and administration operations. The HR and Administration Generalist will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer.


Schedule
20 hours per week

4 hours per day, Mon-Fri during regular business hours

In office Mon-Thu, Remote on Friday


Key Responsibilities and Duties

Human Resources Responsibilities

  • Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organizations human resource and talent strategy. Particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
  • Manages full employee lifecycle: Recruiting, Interviewing, Hiring, Onboarding, Reviews, Discipline, Training, Terminations, Offboarding. Collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Provide human resources assistance, guidance and counseling to the Managers and Executive team to maximize the quality and professionalism of the company staff by listening and interpreting concerns and objectives and seeking solutions.
  • Creates learning and development programs and initiatives on company policies and new skills that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
  • Manage employee benefits and annual renewals.
  • Maintains updated and accurate Employee data.
  • Supports management through employee discipline and performance management efforts.
  • Maintains the employee handbook and update it as needed

Administration Responsibilities**- Events planning and hosting

  • Maintains kitchen and lobby by running the dishwasher, ordering supplies, restocking as needed.
  • Acts as primary liaison with building management.
  • Tracks and administers employee key fobs
  • Manages and schedules regular client notifications.
  • Overseas the resale and recycling of IT hardware.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred
  • Must have 2+ years' experience in HR and administration functions
  • Technology or Professional Services industry experience desired but not required
  • Must be local to Rockville, MD
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
