Shaping the supermarkets of the future As the central purchasing department for investment goods, we are responsible for procuring modern and energy-efficient technology for more than 5,000 stores and 39 logistics locations. We support the development of new store concepts and the procurement of innovative technologies.

What you will be doing with us:

  • National procurement of products and services in the area of store equipment with a focus on store construction/furnishing for more than 5,000 REWE and Penny stores.
  • Independent analysis of procurement markets and holistic implementation of the procurement process, from the bidding phase to supplier selection and negotiation.
  • Continuous optimization of technical specifications in close cooperation with internal departments such as construction, energy management, and suppliers.
  • Strategic cost management taking into account total and life cycle costs (TCO and LCC).
  • Use of value analysis methods to reduce OPEX/CAPEX costs.
  • Active supplier management through meaningful key figures and implementation of supplier reporting.
