    Senior Financial Reporting Accountant

    Location:
    Fort Washington, PA OR Coppell, TX - Hybrid

    Job Description:


    As a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial reporting processes.

    You will work closely with various teams within the finance department to prepare financial statements, disclosures, and reports in compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.

    Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and enhancement of internal controls and processes to streamline financial reporting operations.


    Responsibilities:
    Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
    Assist in the preparation of SEC filings, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
    Perform detailed analysis of financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
    Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather necessary information and support for financial reporting activities.
    Participate in the implementation of new accounting standards and regulatory changes, ensuring timely adoption and compliance.

    Ideal Experience/Must haves:
    Bachelors in Finance or Accounting
    CPA or Public Accounting is preferred
    2-5 years experience
    Mortgage industry or financial services, banking
