We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Assistant to provide support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities. As a Personal Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients.


Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with meal preparation and ensuring dietary needs are met
• Providing personal care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Implementing behavior management strategies and promoting positive social interactions
• Ensuring the rights and dignity of individuals are respected at all times
• Assisting with medication management and maintaining accurate records
• Supporting individuals in accessing community resources and participating in recreational activities
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Adhering to HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of client information
• Performing heavy lifting as required to assist clients with mobility

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:

• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, preferably in assisted living or hospice care settings
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
• Understanding of resident rights and commitment to promoting independence and selfdetermination
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients, families, and team members
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to adapt to changing needs and prioritize tasks effectively
• Physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary

$ $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
