TITLE: Outside Sales Representative - ReadyMix

FLSA Classification: Exempt

Department/Company: Greater San Antonio Area

Reports to: General Manager

Position Objectives:

The Outside Sales position will work with Jarco ReadyMix reporting directly to the General Manager. This position generates new clients and services existing clients while working with dispatch to provide excellent customer service. This position requires regular visits to job sites to meet assigned and potential customers, negotiate contracts, follow up on current projects and keep them updated on new products and locations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Prospect and cultivate new ReadyMix sales leads to ensure maximum company growth.

· Provide prompt and courteous service to customers.

· Provide quotes and pricing to customers within the scope of defined parameters.

· Grow and maintain all assigned accounts relative to sales volume, product distribution and customer service by building close, working relationships.

· Address and resolve customer complaints/inquiries in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction.

· Attending assigned job sites and helping coordinate with dispatch by providing all necessary information on work orders to ensure optimal delivery results.

· Work with sales team to drive revenue and market share by assisting in the development of market plans through field activity.

· Assist in collection of receivables to maintain open accounts and improve profit

· Answer incoming calls or messages from office personnel to ensure internal issues are handled immediately.

· Follow all required safety policies and procedures.

· Perform any other tasks and duties as requested, directed, or assigned to support and improve the overall team operations.

· Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operation, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service.

· Perform any other tasks and duties as requested, directed, or assigned to support and improve the overall team operations.

· None

Education and Experience

· 3+ years' experience in ReadyMix Sales

· Must have a valid driver's license and pass a pre-employment MVR

· Must be able to work flexible hours; early mornings, late nights, and weekends

· Must possess excellent communication skills: verbal and written

· Must have a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, Outlook

· High school diploma or GED required.

Physical Requirements:

· Heavy lifting required, lift up to 35 lbs. +

· Must be able to work in severe weather conditions, both heat and cold.

· Must be able to stand / sit 8-15 hours per day.

· Regularly required to sit, climb, stand, bend, squat, reach, and move as part of normal work activities.

Work Environment:

· Location of position: Greater San Antonio Area

· Background checks and drug tests required.

· Maintaining a valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.

· May be exposed to elements such as weather, noise, dust, odors, fumes, and oils.

· May be subject to sitting/standing for long periods of time to perform job scope.

· May be required to work hours other than the regular schedule.
