Description

A detailed-oriented quality control manager will ensure the manufacturing production runs smoothly and generate a consistently suitable output of products that meet quality and efficiency standards.

The quality control manager understands the customer's needs & requirements, coordinates employee efforts, and communicates effectively with management and production teams.

• Understanding the customer's needs and requirements, communicating them and the quality standards to the production teams
• Devising ways to improve the process to ensure higherquality product
• Devising, improving, and reviewing new specifications & procedures for products and/ or processes
• Training production employees on quality process and procedures
• Overseeing product development procedures to identify any deviations from quality standards
• Inspecting the final output, comparing it to the requirements, approving or rejecting final products
• Keeping accurate documentation and performing analysis
• Manage and supervise QC activities
• Use effective communication skills to drive alignment and resolve conflict
• Provide coaching and constructive feedback to production employees
• Evaluate procedure, assess and develop options as needed
• Establishing Standard Operating Procedures
• Ability to use measuring devices such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.
• Document control, PPAP, CPK analysis is a plus
