For the winter semester 2024/25, we are looking for a professor (m/f/d) for the dual study program in civil engineering at the Augsburg campus, part-time, starting on

Your tasks

You will represent the field of civil engineering in teaching and research in the practice-integrated bachelor's program and together with us, you will train the new generation of professionals (for more insights, see the module handbook).

You will create and lead lectures and be responsible for the individual support of our dual students during their exams and when writing their final theses.

You will provide practical and well-founded basic knowledge in civil engineering and are able to train our students in areas such as construction management, construction, sustainable building, real estate management, and lean construction management.

You will be involved in the creative development of teaching formats within the didactic concept of the IU for the dual study program and further develop it in collegial cooperation.

The approach of the IU International University is to provide practical content.

Therefore, we are looking for an expert in the field of civil engineering who stands out for their previous professional experience, scientific expertise, and didactic skills and brings them into teaching at the IU.
