- Cleaning: Perform thorough cleaning and maintenance of floors, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming.
- Floor Care: Use floor buffers, carpet cleaners, and other equipment to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of floors.
- Spot Removal: Remove spots from carpets and perform bonnet and extraction carpet cleaning.
- Trash Disposal: Dispose of trash and assist with hazardous waste collection.
- Equipment Operation: Operate floor sweepers, buffers, strippers, canister vacuum cleaners, and shop vacuums.
- Safety Measures: Wear adequate personal protective equipment (PPE) when working with chemicals and equipment.
- Microorganism Control: Protect patients and visitors by keeping floors free from harmful microorganisms.
- Inventory Management: Keep an inventory of floor areas and schedule cleaning and maintenance duties.
- Maintenance Reporting: Report maintenance issues to the supervisor.
- Hazardous Waste Collection: Assist with hazardous waste collection as requested.
- High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent preferred.
- 1+ Years of Floor maintenance experience
- Ability to work with hazardous chemicals, bodily fluids, and communicable/infectious diseases.
- Resilience to noise.
- Physically agile.
- Excellent communication skills.
