General Manager
A General Manager is responsible for setting goals and objectives for the restaurant to achieve while ensuring maximum guest satisfaction.
- Oversees daily operations to guarantee high levels of service, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction
- Develops and implements the annual budget, financial forecasts, and business goals
- Directs location staff to comply with company standards and policies
- Manages financial objectives by analyzing variances and taking corrective actions
- Maintains a safe and healthy environment by enforcing sanitation standards and legal regulations
- Evaluates operations to improve service continuously
- Makes decisions on hiring, firing, and promotions
- Acts as a resource in resolving complex issues
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required; additional education in Hospitality or Restaurant Management preferred
- 3 years of store management experience in Food and Beverage or related fields required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Micros POS system and PeopleSoft Financials is a plus
- Strong time and project management skills
- Knowledge of product, quality, and operations standards
- Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders
- Proficient in reading and understanding documents
- Basic computer skills required
- Ability to lift objects up to 40 lbs.
