WaveLight GmbH is a global leader in the development and production of innovative laser systems for use in eye surgery. WaveLight's laser and diagnostic systems allow for gentle and highly precise correction of vision. Since 2009, WaveLight has been a wholly-owned subsidiary of Alcon.

As a Development Engineer for Medical Technology (Electronics and Software) (m/f/d), you will support our Manufacturing Science & Technology Team in developing, optimizing, and documenting modules, specifications, and software at our location in Erlangen.

A typical day in this role includes:

  • Responsibility for the development and documentation of electronic modules and components, including creating related documentation
  • Creating, optimizing, and documenting concepts and specifications for medical control systems
  • Developing and documenting GxP-compliant software for medical devices
