A Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) Shop Helper is needed to work in the
Chain Shop by the Hobby Airport area*
NOT A FELONY FRIENDLY EMPLOYER

NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED JUST WILLINGNESS TO LEARN AND SOME MECHANICAL KNOWLEDGE




SHIFT:
M-F 8 AM-5 PM




PAY:
$16/HR.

Duties for Shop Helper:


  • Produces assigned products following verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to exhibit good written and verbal skills when communicating and completing production documentation.
  • Performs all duties and responsibilities with excellent attention to detail.
  • Work well with others
  • Cleaning parts with degreaser and solvents
  • Removing burrs and sharp edges on parts using variations of equipment
  • Occasional drilling and tapping
  • Mopping shop floors as needed
  • Must be able to use a hand grinder.
  • Forklift exp. is a plus.
  • Basic Knowledge of Hand Tools.
  • Be able to read a tape measure.
  • Be able to work in hot/cold environments.
  • Be able to learn to use a bander or winder machine.

Experience:


  • Mechanical knowledge: 2 years (required)
  • Warehouse: 2 years (preferred)
  • Must have HAND TOOL experience
  • Must be Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Pay:
From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
