Description

Duties:


  • Performs routine duties of servicing banquets either by providing for set menu banquets or taking individual orders
  • Waiter work, with fewer procedure requirements than those involved in positions in restaurant, cafe or bar operations
  • Works under close supervision of the banquet supervisor or leader who provides specific instruction for task to be performed.
  • Performance is observed while in progress to ensure compliance with instructions and established procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Must be willing to work an occasional rotating shift to include weekend and/or holiday shift as needed based on mission needs.
  • Satisfactorily complete all preemployment checks in accordance with AR 2153 to include a medical examination
  • Incumbent must be able to lift and move items weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally controlled facilities.

PCS Costs

  • Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.

FWS Allowances and Differentials

  • This is a federal wage schedule (FWS) position.
  • All FWS employees are entitled to overtime work for work in excess of 8 hours in a day or in excess of 40 hours in the administrative workweek, whichever provides the greater benefit to the employee.
  • Regular fulltime, regular parttime (to include those in a limited tenure appointment category) and regularly scheduled flexible employees are entitled to Sunday premium pay when working Sunday shifts. A FWS employee will be paid a night shift differential of 7.5% for the entire shift when a majority of the employee's regularly scheduled nonovertime hours of work occur between the hours of 1500 and 2400. A FWS employee will be paid a night shift differential of 10% of the scheduled rate if a majority of the employee's regularly scheduled nonovertime hours of work occur between the hours of

  • Incentives will not be paid.

Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances

  • Nonforeign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
