Position:
Behavioral Health Technician |Footprints to Recovery, Elgin IL | Full-Time 6am-2:30pm, 2pm-10:30am, or 10pm-6:30am| Part-Time openings

Footprints to Recovery's approach to drug and alcohol treatment and medical detox is simple; we listen and make use of new methods, research, and activities to assist in recovery.

Every individual presents with a different storry that is unique to him or her.

From the first contact to individual, group, or family sessions we work with our clients to develop a personalized plan that addresses each client's needs.

We ae looking for a dynamic Behavioral Health Tech to support clinical and non-clinical staff as well as building administration in the provision of technical and auxiliary clinical services to ensure comprehensive and effective daily programming and functionality.

Job Duties:

The Behavioral Health Technician collects, monitors, and documents urinalysis samples and breathalyzer screenings
The Behavioral Health Technician monitors and maintains inventory of all supplies and storage closet, and advise supervisor when supplies are due to be ordered
The Behavioral Health Technician is responsible for monitoring clients throughout hours of operation, including a walkthrough of the building every 15 minutes as assigned
The Behavioral Health Technician is responsible for ensuring and maintaining the cleanliness of the building
The Behavioral Health Technician ensures compliance with Federal Regulations pertaining to client confidentiality
The Behavioral Health Technician schedules and provides transportation in accordance with transportation policy and procedures
The Behavioral Health Technician maintains cleanliness of company vehicles
The Behavioral Health Technician maintains travel logs and vehicle safety checklists
The Behavioral Health Technician provides local transportation of clients
The Behavioral Health Technician provides backup support for reception needs
The Behavioral Health Technician monitors and oversees the use of the computers
The Behavioral Health Technician provides support to clinical staff and medical staff
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

A valid driver's license and clean driving record
Current CPR certification
Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work with constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
Ability to work efficiently and thoroughly
Must have a strong ability to multitask
Must have knowledge of all Microsoft Office suites including, but not limited to: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.
