    Summary of Position:


    The Manager of Content Production is primarily, but not exclusively, responsible for managing the processes, tools, and individuals that translate and localize SANS Digital's training content.

    The Manager of Content Production works closely with AI translation tool vendors, language validation contractors, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), course authors, and the Digital production team to ensure that digital content is produced on time and meets quality standards.

    This role manages, trains, and evaluates a pool of contractors.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Oversee translation of digital content (scripts, module titles and descriptions, quizzes, etc.) using AI tools and translation validation contractors.

    Create deliverables such as SRTs, PDFs of scripts, etc. that conform to specifications.

    Ensure that digital content translations and other deliverables are completed on time and meet SANS quality standards.

    Manage and assign tasks to contractors.

    Interface with vendors to resolve issues and develop more efficient workflows.

    Create and maintain content production documentation and training materials.

    Assist with the creation and maintenance of digital assessments.

    Assist with the implementation of new tools and features to enhance digital content.

    Other duties as assigned.


    Basic Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

    Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in project management.

    Comfortable working in a virtual organization.

    Ability to manage multiple projects to meet strict quality, schedule, and budget requirements.

    Experience with collaborative/project management tools including Atlassian products, SmartSheet, and Microsoft Office.

    Working knowledge of information security disciplines.

    Ability to work efficiently across multiple teams and communicate results to stakeholders.


    Preferred Qualifications:
    Experience with Smartcat or other translations platforms.

    Familiarity with Learnosity and/or other online assessment tools.

    Experience leading/Managing instructional design teams.

    Experience with AI tools.


    Reporting Relationships:
    This position reports to Senior Manager of Content Production.


    Work Environment:
    This position works from home, with occasional required travel (up to 10%)

    The base salary range for this position is between $70,000 and $80,000. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location and relevant experience, education, certifications, and years of experience.

    There is no guarantee an offer will be at the top of the posted range based on the salary analysis.
