Interior Designer in Brooklyn, Ny - Resourceful Talent Group
Description
Responsibilities:
- Utilize AutoCAD for design drafting and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision and requirements.
- Select finishes and materials in line with project objectives and budget.
- Manage takeoffs including sourcing, purchasing, and handoff of items for construction.
- Work closely with the designbuild team to ensure seamless project execution.
- Create MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) drawings when necessary.
- Provide hand sketches to convey design concepts as needed.
Job requirements
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with clients.
- Intuitive design sense with a keen eye for detail.
- Some understanding of construction processes and materials.
- Flexibility to work a hybrid schedule, with 3 days per week in the office in Williamsburg, BK.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in residential interior design.
- Familiarity with MEP drawings and construction documentation.
- Ability to listen to client needs and translate them into actionable design plans.
- Portfolio showcasing diverse design styles and successful projects.
Pay:
$90, $100,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
