Service technician for machine assembly - Maple City, United States - Velocity Innovations
Description
Your main tasks include the mechanical and electrical assembly of systems, coordination of the construction site team, and training of customer employees. You will also accompany the commissioning of the factory in Blaubeuren and support the mechanical engineering department.
What can you expect?
- You will assemble and commission our systems and machines for the production of precast concrete components at our customers' sites
- Your work involves approximately 50% international travel, meaning you will be abroad for example for 2 months at a time
- You are responsible for the smooth mechanical and electrical assembly of the systems and coordinate the construction site team
- You are the contact person on site and provide training to our customers and employees on our systems and machines
- You will accompany the acceptance of the commissioning of our machines at the Blaubeuren location and support the mechanical engineering department between assignments
What should you bring?
- You have completed training as a mechanic or mechatronics technician or have a comparable qualification
- You ideally have experience in commissioning systems or machines
- You have good welding and hydraulic knowledge
- You speak English at a conversational level
- You are willing to travel globally
