How You Will Make an Impact

As a
Parts Salesperson, you will ensure the Parts department is operating efficiently to support the dealership in delivering world-class service.

You will impact whether we become our guest's favorite place to purchase or service their Harley-Davidson.


What Winning Looks Like:


  • Demonstrating a high "HQ" (Hospitality Quotient) consisting of kindness & optimism, intellectual curiosity, work ethic, empathy, selfawareness, and integrity.
  • Handles phone parts and counter sales efforts, including a telemarketing program to keep in contact with customers.
  • Analyzes personal sales, sales effort, and goals to exceed industry standards.
  • Analyzes departmental operations and storage layout and revises as needed for maximum effectiveness.
  • Helps maintain inventory stocking, cycle counts, dusting, cleaning
  • Forecasts personal goals and objectives and strives to meet them
  • Ensures that parts inventory turns.
  • Monitors and adjusts inventory to minimize obsolescence.
  • Ensures all parts are properly tagged
  • Provides technical assistance to other dealership employees
  • Coordinates a prompt, efficient, and timely flow of paperwork.
  • Develops and utilizes a lost sales tracking report
  • Handles customer complaints immediately and according to the dealership's guidelines.
  • Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations that may affect parts sales.
  • Understand the importance of teamwork and communication in fixed operations.

Skills Needed to Win:


  • Experience in an automotive or motorcycle parts department
  • 2 years of retail/customer service experience
  • Excellent communication and personal skills
  • Ability to operate within the department profitably within dealership guidelines.
  • Experience with Harley-Davidson

$28, $39,000.00 per year
