- Provide 1:1 support to a medically complex student throughout the academic year, including riding the bus to and from school with student
- Monitor the student's health and well-being during transportation and throughout the school day.
- Implement medical interventions and treatments as per the doctor's orders.
- Assist with all aspects of the student's care, including but not limited to tracheostomy and ventilator management.
- Collaborate with school staff and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and student safety.
- Maintain accurate documentation of medical interventions, observations, and student progress.
- Current RN or CSN licensure in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Prior experience working with medically complex students, preferably with tracheostomy and ventilator management experience.
- Ability to effectively implement doctor's orders and medical protocols.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with school staff, healthcare professionals, and the student's family.
