- Manage all commodity receiving, processing, inventory, and shipping processes
- Identify opportunities to expand or shift course quickly to maximize changing markets
- Support and manage an effective preventative maintenance program for plant equipment
- Manage a staff consisting of direct labor, maintenance and customer services associates.
- Optimize operational productivity and efficiencies while maximizing gross margin
- Support Business Development and Administrative team members in driving profitable plant performance
- Train staff as needed
- Collaborates with and works alongside the team on the plant floor.
- Minimum of 90% of time spent on the floor. This is not an office job.
- Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field and previous P&L responsibility preferred
- 3-5 years in an operations management role preferred Warehouse/Manufacturing
- Experience with P&L responsibility preferred
- Strong leader of people and able to get buy-in from all members of the team.
- High level of confidence in making business decisions.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to support maintenance functions
- Highly effective written and oral communication skills coupled with proven team development experience
- Ability to be flexible with schedule to support our day and overnight shifts.
