WHAT TO EXPECT IN THE PRACTICAL PART

Children are close to your heart and YOU would like to discover the world together with them? The practical training takes place in various municipal facilities such as daycares, kindergartens or after-school care centers. From the first day of your training, you will be right in the middle of it instead of just being there: together with the parents, you will shape the goals for the children's living environments. You will also gain first experiences in promoting children's development and guide them in their first discoveries of the world around them.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN THEORY

Education also needs to be learned. During the first year of training, the theoretical phase takes place from Mon-Wed at the Helene-Lange-Schule in Mannheim. The practical part takes place on Thu-Fri. From the second year of your training, the theory will be taught in block lessons, also at the Helene-Lange-Schule, where you will also take your final exam. You will be taught the necessary professional skills to take on educational, educational and care tasks.
