Responsibilities:

Summary/objective
Position requires knowledge of multiple disciplines. The Team Leader must be able to continually switch job responsibilities and maintain the product quality and schedule.

Bulk of time is spent laying out a design that can be easily implemented with emphasis on being able to take work performed on earlier projects and both re-use and streamline new designs to produce a better product for less cost.

Responsible for the final Quality Control Check of all products within discipline that leave the building and supporting all those products in the field.

Essential functions

Interface with Designers, Engineers, and Production staff to offer suggestions that deliver upon the designer's intent.
Bid/Design/Order/Assemble/Test products within assigned discipline.
Interface with Project Management and Operations Management to establish and meet project deadlines.
Provide ongoing support to existing base of designs.
Provide direction and supervision to assigned shop personnel.
Design schematics capable of being fabricated inhouse or outsourced.
Travel into the field to startup and commission products, as required.
Assist in the research and implementation of new products within discipline.

Qualifications:

Attention to detail and ability to multitask are very important
Positive, cando attitude; willingness to learn
Prior experience working with audio/visual and other media equipment
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Ability to become forklift certified
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
Availability to work overtime during peak seasons
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis
Ability to spend up to 100% of work time standing or moving. Physical activities include frequent use of hand tools, bending, stooping, lifting, climbing stairs, carrying, walking and/or reaching regularly

The pay range for this position is estimated to be $ $23.00 per hour. Actual salary to be determined by the experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant combined with location and alignment with market data._
