Position Overview:

Responsibilities:

Read and interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, and blueprints to assemble mechanical components and systems.
Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to perform assembly tasks accurately and efficiently.
Follow assembly instructions and procedures to ensure products meet quality and performance standards.
Inspect finished assemblies for defects, ensuring all components are properly aligned, fastened, and calibrated.
Conduct functional tests and performance evaluations on assembled products to verify proper operation and compliance with specifications.
Troubleshoot and resolve assembly and testing issues as they arise, collaborating with engineers and other team members as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
Document assembly and testing processes, including any deviations or abnormalities encountered, for quality control and continuous improvement purposes.
Contribute to team goals and objectives by actively participating in meetings, training sessions, and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in mechanical assembly preferred.
Proven experience in mechanical assembly and testing, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, diagrams, and blueprints.
Strong mechanical aptitude and dexterity, with the ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to producing highquality work.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation purposes.
Knowledge of safety procedures and practices in a manufacturing environment.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules as needed.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to [X] pounds) and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
Comfortable working in a fastpaced and physically demanding environment, including standing, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
