Summary_

Machado Construction Co. Inc., is a family owned and operated business located in Halethorpe, MD. We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Paver to join our team. _
3 years of related experience is required_.

Duties_

Install quality asphalt pavement.
Assist construction and/or paving crew with various duties.
Assist in the placement, moving, and/or dismantling of signs, barricades, cones, and other traffic devices as necessary.
Must follow all direction from job foreman explaining daily tasks for each individual job site/project.
Must follow all safety protocols regarding personal safety, traffic control management, and equipment safety, including attending all required safety meetings.
Other job duties as assigned.

Requirements_

Ability to operate the asphalt paver.
A valid driver's license is preferred, but not required.
Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check.
Must be punctual and have good time management skills.
Must be able to abide by all safety protocols and procedures.

Physical Requirements_

Must be able to be on your feet for long periods of time, including walking, standing, squatting, etc.
Must be able to lift at least 70 pounds and 50 pounds overhead with no issue.
Ability to tolerate working outdoors in all environmental temperatures and weather.
Ability to work in areas with the potential for high noise levels.
Ability to work days, nights, and weekends if needed.

Education and/or Experience _

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
3 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Salary_

$28-$35 hourly based on experience.
