Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize the endtoend supply chain operations, aligning with company goals and objectives.
- Lead and mentor a small team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Oversee procurement activities, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management, to ensure the timely availability of quality materials at competitive prices.
- Collaborate with production, sales, and finance teams to develop accurate demand forecasts and production schedules, balancing inventory levels with customer demand.
- Implement inventory management best practices to minimize carrying costs while maintaining adequate stock levels to support production and customer orders.
- Optimize logistics and distribution processes to improve efficiency, reduce lead times, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track supply chain performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies related to supply chain operations.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field. Master's degree a plus.
- 10+ years of proven experience in supply chain management roles within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and work independently.
- Proficiency in ERP systems.
Pay:
$95, $110,000.00 per year
