TruthMD is a leader in the field of healthcare provider data management. We are seeking a talented Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team to develop services and APIs backing our data and certification-related offerings for health plans, provider credentialing organizations and Health Information Technology companies.

Responsibilities

Hands-on role developing, implementing, operating, and enhancing applications and systems including data processing/transformation, micro-services, and UI applications.
Evaluate functional/business and technical requirements to identify gaps/risks and collaborate with the team on the best technical solutions.
Conduct development & testing activities using Agile methodology. Engineers are expected to contribute to testing/test automation and DevOps activities in line with best practices.
Follow existing development workflows and quality processes and create appropriate design and development artifacts and documentation.
Conduct peer code & design reviews and participate in parallel programming as needed to ensure quality delivery.
Provide support, product troubleshooting support, and resolve product issues and defects.
Promote knowledge sharing activities within and across teams through documentation, training and mentoring.
Engage, collaborate, and communicate with other team members in an Agile environment on-site in Alpharetta, GA as well as working with remote staff and contractors as needed.

Requirements

5+ years' experience in software engineering using Agile, DevOps, Test Driven Development, and other lean methodologies
7+ years' programming experience including substantial full stack Java & Spring Boot framework
3+ years' UI development experience with JavaScript, React, and/or Angular
Experience in using Agile work management tools (e.g. JIRA, Azure Devops) and CI/CD pipelines
Strong understanding of object-oriented principles and design patterns
Extensive experience with Relational databases including MS SQL Server
Strong understanding of object-oriented principles and design patterns
Strong understanding of development of data processing and transformation systems
Strong coding, debugging, problem solving, and analytical skills
Ability to work effectively in both individual and team settings
Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and collaboration skills
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Preferred

Elastic search; messaging (Kafka); cloud computing platforms(AWS and Azure); building and implementing microservices in container environments (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker)
Experience managing small development projects or development teams as a team/project lead.
Experience developing for cloud services/architectures (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
