Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc. seeks a Software Developer in Alpharetta, GA

Develop software solutions for the Financial Reporting module of the Shareworks equity compensation management application. Develop full-stack solutions, from front-end to back-end, using various tools and languages. Maintain the Financial Reporting module. Identify the root cause and resolve production issues. Write automated tests including unit, integration, performance, and regression to help maintain code coverage and platform stability. Perform software code reviews. Work with product managers and delivery managers to plan features requested by clients, and break them down into deliverable work pieces to be released with each product release cycle.

Requirements:

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years as a Software Developer, Systems Engineer, or a closely related occupation. Requires four (4) years of experience with: Agile methodology for software development; production issues including debugging; Ant to create Java libraries; front end development using JSPs, servlets, Javascript, and CSS; Atlassian JIRA for requirement tracking and documentation; SVN. Requires three (3) years of experience with: RDBMSs using Oracle 11g, PL/SQL, and SQL Developer; Confluence for requirement tracking and documentation; writing unit and integration tests using JUnit framework; writing SQL DML and DDL queries; maintaining source code using SCM tools including git; writing code, refactoring, debugging, source-control using IDEs including IntelliJ. Requires two (2) years of experience with: IBM Rational Synergy Developer; Core Java and J2EE for full-stack development including, Hibernate, Spring MVC, and Spring-iBATIS; Eclipse. Requires any amount of experience with: HTML; Spring JPA; building and consuming webservices using JAXB, REST, and JSON.
