Description: Working within assigned areas, this position involves the ongoing maintenance of high-level diagnostic and therapeutic imaging equipment in a healthcare facility. The role includes planned maintenance, corrective maintenance, and assisting in the planning and installation of diagnostic and therapeutic imaging equipment.

COMPANY AND JOB TITLE: This job opportunity is within a healthcare facility and entails working as a Biomedical Equipment Technician.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Knows, understands, and demonstrates Trinity Health's mission, vision, and core values.
Maintains knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Meets target objectives for timeliness and quality of maintenance schedules and repairs.
Responsible for maintenance, repair, and servicing of specialized equipment.
Orders necessary parts and supplies for equipment repairs.
Coordinates repairs with vendors and users.
Attends training sessions and conducts in-service training.
Provides on-call service coverage after business hours.
Maintains high customer satisfaction levels.
Participates in teamwork and assumes additional duties as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Associates of Applied Sciences Degree in a related field.
Three or more years of experience in maintenance and repair of medical equipment.
Specialized training in specific equipment repair areas.
Working knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
Ability to analyze and interpret complex information.
Comfortable operating in a shared leadership environment.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

Must be physically able to perform various tasks.
Ability to concentrate under stress and changing priorities.
Ability to work in hazardous environments and follow safety guidelines.
Must have sensory abilities and be able to lift and carry specified weights.
Must maintain a safe working environment for all.
