Homestead Living in Waunakee is urgently hiring full time Caregiver Specialists and Med Passers on our PM Shift (3p-11p).Offering higher than industry-average starting wages, benefits, training/tuition incentives and holiday, overtime, and night shift incentives. A family owned and operated small business, serving our community's Memory Care needs for 30 years.
We are looking for compassionate, intelligent and responsible employees.
Qualified applicants will have experience with Person-Centered Dementia Care.
CNA preferred. CBRF certifications preferred.
We are looking for career-oriented caregivers who are interested in growing along wtih our business.
Duties:
- Reading, writing, and carrying out directions
- Charting or taking notes for others to review
- Providing companionship and supportive listening
- Reporting changes in the health or status of the client
- Taking vitals, height, and weight
- Feeding clients
- Maintaining patient's health equipment
- Responding to emergency situations
- Administering medication
- Providing support with hobbies, studies, and social activities
COVID-19 Precaution(s):
- Personal protective equipment provided or required
- Temperature screenings
- Social distancing guidelines in place
- Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place
Pay:
From $20.50 per hour
