    Description

    I'm partnered with the CFO at a rapidly growing, multi-million dollar, highly acquisitive business within the architectural and construction space.

    Located in Lincoln Park and operating on a hybrid schedule, this company has almost doubled in revenue in the past year and are building out their team due to this massive growth.

    Reporting directly to the CFO, this individual will have full ownership of the accounting function for three entities, while managing a team of 3+ individuals.

    In addition, you will have the ability to make an immediate impact by driving process improvements within the team.

    In addition, you will have the ability to make an immediate impact by driving process improvements within the team. Coordinate month, quarter, and year-end closing processes, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.

    Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, with a focus on inventory and cost-related accounts.

    Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard inventory assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
    Manage the end-to-end payroll process, including calculating wages, bonuses, and deductions, ensuring accuracy, and processing payments to employees.

    Stay up-to-date with federal, state, and local payroll regulations to ensure compliance with tax laws, wage and hour laws, and other relevant regulations.

    Prepare and file payroll tax returns and ensure timely and accurate tax payments to avoid penalties.
    Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
    CPA or MBA a plus
    Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
    Desire to continue to grow through continuing training and development
