Paul & Biddle Medical Associates is seeking an energetic, friendly and organized New Patient Logistics & Scheduling Coordinator to join our growing healthcare team at our _Downtown Baltimore_ office.

Your primary job duties will include scheduling appointments, coordinating provider schedules, answering questions, and processing paperwork.

You will also help keep our scheduling and patient records organized and ensure that our offices provide a welcoming environment for our patients.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Answer phones; take or respond to telephone calls promptly to establish or confirm appointments
  • Schedule new and existing patients for consultations, evaluations, and treatments; maintain detailed patient scheduling notes in the electronic medical record
  • Create and monitor schedules for doctors at main location and satellite offices
  • Keep paper and electronic new patient scheduling records uptodate
  • Request old charts for patients returning after an extended period of time
  • Input new patient demographic information and scan paperwork into online document management system
  • Assist patients with scheduling transportation to and from visits

Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a certificate program in the medical field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience working as an administrative assistant or in a relevant role
  • 2+ years of experience with scheduling patients
  • Familiar with medical terminology
  • Outgoing personality; enjoys speaking with and helping different groups of people
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Windows 10, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat/PDF)
