We are seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our team at our scrap metal recycling yard. The hours are , Monday to Friday with some weekends.


Key Responsibilities:

Safely and efficiently operate various types of cranes especially Material Handlers, in accordance with all safety regulations and company policies.

Load and unload materials from trucks and containers, ensuring proper positioning.

Move scrap metal and equipment within the recycling facility to facilitate sorting and processing.

Perform routine maintenance and inspections on cranes to ensure they are in good working condition.

Collaborate with other team members to coordinate the safe and efficient movement of materials.

Maintain accurate records of crane operations and safety checks.

Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the appropriate supervisor.


Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Crane Operator in an industrial or recycling environment.

In-depth knowledge of crane operation techniques and safety procedures.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Strong commitment to safety and the ability to follow safety guidelines rigorously.

Experience in the scrap metal industry is a plus but not required.

Bilingual is a plus but not required.

Pay:
$ $28.00 per hour


Expected hours:
No less than 40 per week


Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Overtime
