***The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the efficient operation of the payroll function and the timely processing of company payroll. This position may partner with the Human Resources team to provide support with various related needs and company initiatives. Communication with staff in all departments is paramount in this position, ensuring that the payroll needs of all departments are met effectively and efficiently.


What you will be doing

  • Accurately process payroll, including input, maintenance, review, and verification of output.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all pay and personal employee information.
  • Reconcile pay data grid information to timesheets prior to transmission.
  • Maintain all payroll records in compliance with IRS regulations and ensure compliance with all applicable State and Federal regulations.
  • Produce reports, both recurring or as requested by the HR and/or accounting departments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What you will bring to the team

  • High school diploma or GED certificate required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Human Resources, or related field (preferred).
  • 1+ years of prior payroll experience. Previous experience with various payroll, timekeeping, and HRIS software preferred.
  • Knowledge of payroll tax laws, state and federal labor laws, and IRS rules as they pertain to payroll and taxation filing and wage & hour requirements.
  • Knowledge of general accounting and payroll practices and Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Please note that actual pay will be determined based on the relevant experience and internal equity within the pay range.
