Your tasks

  • Developing mold concepts including gating, venting, and temperature control concepts
  • Creating tool designs and fixtures, as well as detailed drawings with manufacturing tolerances and parts lists
  • Preparing manufacturing documents and supporting documents
  • Performing design changes and optimizations for existing injection molding tools
  • Assisting in the development of requirements, standardizations, and specifications for tool creation
  • Constant coordination with internal interface departments for the implementation of tool projects
  • Participating in the creation of cost estimates for customer inquiries

Your profile

  • Completed training as a tool mechanic (m/f/d), with further education as a master (m/f/d), technician (m/f/d) or engineer (m/f/d) in the fields of plastics technology, construction technology, mechanical engineering or similar
  • Thorough knowledge in the field of plastic injection molding technology
  • Professional experience with modern 3D systems for tool and mold making
  • Experience in process simulations for the injection molding process, e.g. Moldex 3D or similar systems
  • Knowledge in the evaluation of CT measurement data with common programs such
