- Drive revenue through invoicing, re invoicing, and recognizing revenue from prepaid amounts stored as liabilities to perform
- Make accounting & FTE allocation adjustments as required
- Develop program and administrative budgets, reconcile budgets with
- Work with Program Managers to prepare and submit budget modifications and proposals to funding entities
- Compare budgeted to actual expenses on a monthly basis and keep Administrative and Program Managers apprised of variances
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial reports, including numeric and evaluative assessments of performance
- Provide Program staff with technical assistance related to budgeting, contract administration and financial reporting
- Review funding proposals and contracts for clarity, accuracy and completeness
- Prepare invoices and requests for reimbursement in accordance with contractual and regulatory requirements
- Ensure grant and contract revenue is correctly recorded in the accounting system and reconciles with the General Ledger
- Review, process, and monitor completion of contract performance reporting
- Ensure contract files are up to date, audit ready and contain all required documentation, including but not limited to: proposal, contract, amendments, reports and correspondence

Summary:
The Financial Analyst is responsible for developing and monitoring program budgets, FTE and cost allocations, verifying expenses and documentation for compliance with funding guidelines and regulatory requirements, and working with Encompass program staff to ensure fiscal accountability and performance.
Most of this work is done in Excel, so an interest in data modeling and explaining data modeling to others is apt.
As a member of the Fiscal and Analysis team, the Financial Analyst also assists with developing processes and systems to improve the efficiency, compliance and effectiveness of contracts and grants administration and reporting.

1+ years' experience or education that demonstrates ability to accomplish position duties
Bachelor's degree or classes in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent experience
Experience in budgeting
Experience in contact administration and grants management knowledge of general accounting principles and practices
Experience with Excel and financial software
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical thinking skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
A sense of ownership over results and drive to achieve same
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and booster required
Any Abila/MIP financial software experience helpful
Any "Paycom" payroll experience is a nice to have
