Summary
Responsibilities
- Define clear and measurable test objectives, metrics, and deliverables aligned with business goals
- Establish best practices for test planning, test case design, execution, and reporting
- Lead a team of test engineers, providing guidance and support in executing testing activities effectively
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams (development, product management, operations) to understand requirements and integrate testing into the development lifecycle
- Drive automation initiatives to improve test coverage, efficiency, and reliability using scripting languages and automation tools
- Establish test environments and configurations; ensure accurate production environment representation
- Monitor and analyze test results, identify areas of improvement, and implement corrective actions
- Document testing processes, procedures, and results in a clear and concise manner
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 57+ years of relevant experience
- Active DoD security clearance required
- Expertise developing and implementing system level testing processes, methodologies, and frameworks
- Proven experience in leading Test Engineering teams
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with experience in leading and mentoring teams
- Handson experience with test automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
- Deep understanding of database systems, network protocols, and hardware testing methodologies
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, including technical and nontechnical audiences
- Experience with Agile development practices and CI/CD pipelines
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience with software defined radios such as Trellisware or MPU5s
- Experience managing testing across multiple locations
- Experience with Agile processes and tools
