We are currently looking for a commercial clerk (m/f/d) for our client's container logistics operation in Markham. This is a full-time position located in Krefeld.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing container hazardous goods terminals across multiple locations, creating inbound and outbound orders (EDV) and coordinating associated transports
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations for the storage of tank and freight containers, including adherence to legal requirements for storage and proof of waste disposal
  • Performing qualified electronic signatures in eANV in relation to waste storage and disposal transports
  • Cross-location planning of internal and external container traffic (hazardous goods terminals, service stations, operations), including creating associated transport orders via EDV
  • Maintaining IT systems, including invoicing and reporting
  • Special tasks: such as creating storage indicators, compiling statistics for authorities and internal purposes

Your qualifications, skills and experience:

  • Completed training as a freight forwarding and logistics specialist or equivalent
  • Experience in warehouse management/transport planning in container logistics, preferably with a focus on hazardous substances/goods and waste
