    Talent Acquisition Manager

    Summary of Duties

    The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for sourcing and recruiting candidates for designated critical positions throughout the communities and home office. This will be achieved through the development of local and national recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. The Talent Acquisition Manager will play a critical role in ensuring Discovery Senior Living (DSL) is hiring top tier talent in all markets served.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Sources qualified candidates via job sites, databases, networking etc.
    • Proactively sources and builds talent pools for future needs.
    • Manages the Applicant Tracking System for the assigned positions/region.
    • Pre-screen candidates to determine potential cultural fit, qualifications and work history. Makes recommendation to hiring managers and coordinates next steps.
    • Follow up with candidates and hiring managers post interview.
    • Collaborates with hiring managers on hiring decisions and job offers.
    • Successfully organizes and balance recruitment activities for multiple locations and roles.
    • Maintains weekly reporting on open positions.
    • Manages community Indeed (and other job boards as applicable) accounts, including billing process.
    • Work with hiring managers for each location on additional sourcing strategies
    • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with hiring managers.
    • Develops relationships with colleges and schools to promote career opportunities at DSL.
    • Manages social media and electronic recruiting outlets including Facebook, LinkedIn and Glassdoor.
    • Coordinates and attends job fairs.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    • Previous experience in healthcare, hospitality or related industry preferred.
    • Bachelor's Degree in human resources, business management or a related field.
