We are currently seeking an experienced
Regional Sales Manager to join our ImageWear Division, with optical industry background preferred, for our proprietary eyewear collections and accessories in the Southeast region.

Job Summary

Devise and implement sales strategies to generate new business and grow existing business. Forecast and meet/exceed individual territory and regional sales quotas. Hire, train, and supervise sales team. Maintain data for upper management.


Position Specifics:

  • Strong interpersonal management, communication, and persuasive selling skills required to initiate and maintain close business relationships.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, motivational, and administrative skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement marketing and sales strategies.
  • Ability to help others achieve their goals in a productive and teamoriented manner.
  • Basic computer skills with a PC background.
  • Ability to travel by auto and air.
  • Travel approx. 60% of the time with overnight requirements. Occasional weekends for conventions, meetings and/or continuing education.
Experience/Qualifications

  • Four year college degree with emphasis on business related fields preferred or work experience commensurate with position requirements.
  • Proven track record comprised of at least three years generating sales of a complex nature and/or supervisory sales experience.
  • Previous experience selling to eye care professionals a must.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and insurable driving record that complies with The Walman Optical Company Motor Vehicle Policy.
