    Job Description:
    College of Human Sciences and Education

    Office of Student Services

    Office Coordinator- Student Services


    The Office Coordinator- Student Services reports directly to the Associate Director of Student Services in the College of Human Sciences and Education.

    This position provides secretarial support to the Associate Director of Student Services and general clerical support for the Office of Student Services under the daily supervision of the Associate Director of Student Services for staff and students and Administration.

    Reception: 30%


    Greets visitors to the administrative office-and directs them to appropriate faculty or staff Answers departmental phone and transfers calls appropriately.

    Independently fields inquiries and answers questions.

    General Clerical Support: 25%

    Maintains copier, fax machines, and shredder; Distributes mail, printed materials; Completes copy jobs for Asst. Dean, Asst. Directors, Advisors and graduate assistants.


    Can Order office supplies and maintains supply closet inventory; Enters work orders for requests from facility services and IT requests; Ensures documents are shredded in a timely fashion.

    Ensures classrooms and storage areas are maintained and clutter is removed.


    Instructional Administrative Support:
    25%


    Prints Degree Audit Forms, Receives all clerical appeal information, CATS Hold Information, Assistant Dean and Associate Director of Student Services with Graduation, Fall and Spring.

    Administrative Support: 20%

    Ensures timely processing of departmental documents and forms. Accesses mainframe for course and student related issues for Associate Director and Office Staff. Assists undergraduate academic advisors coordinators with mainframe inquiries related to student information. Maintains records and displays of student information, telephone numbers, and office hours. Manages contact information database. Other duties as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Education Level- Bachelors.

    Years of experience- some related experience.
