Job Overview
Role: Wait Staff/Server / Guest Experience Ambassador- Senior Living Community
Location: Overland Park, KS
Schedule: Flexible night and weekend shifts available.
Salary: $17.00 to $18.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
The Guest Experience Ambassador will be under the supervision of the Director of Guest Experience at a Senior Living Community. This role involves the setup and service of meals for residents, delivering exceptional service to enhance their dining experience. Join a dedicated team making a positive impact on the lives of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve food and drinks to residents, including specialized diets
- Take orders and describe menu items
- Ensure resident satisfaction and address any service issues promptly
- Support meal setup and cleanup
- Maintain stock and cleanliness of service areas
- Assist with basic kitchen tasks as required
- Provide outstanding customer service and support culinary staff
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary
Work Environment:
Employees will work in a kitchen setting, operating various equipment and may be exposed to heat, steam, and noise.
Physical Requirements:
This role involves physical tasks such as bending, lifting items up to 40 pounds, and standing for long periods. Additionally, manual dexterity, auditory and visual skills are required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in food service, preferably upscale dining
- Customer service background with a focus on Hospitality
