CrossState Credit Union Association (CrossState) is a regional trade Association serving credit unions in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.We are seeking an experienced and motivated professional to join our team as a Government Relations Associate, to manage political advocacy efforts for CrossState.
This includes the three entities of the CrossState family, the trade association, CrossState Solutions, and CrossState Credit Union Foundation.Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the SVP, Government Relations, the Government Relations Associate will develop a strategy to grow the Associations political action committees (PACs) and Credit Union Action Fund to reach annual fundraising goals and increase participation.
- Raise credit union visibility and awareness amount Trenton, NJ, Harrisburg, PA and Washington DC stakeholders by engaging credit unions and respective Association staff.
- Assist with the advancement of political, legislative, and policy objectives of the Association through independent lobbying and New Jersey/Pennsylvania contracted lobbyist.
- Contribute to developing multifaceted grassroots campaigns to support state and federal legislative initiatives and educate credit unions.
- Work closely with America's Credit Unions, AACUL, Association/League Government Relations professionals to advance multiple policy initiatives and demonstrate the Association's role as a collaborative system partner.
