Patient Accounts Representative: Outpatient Billing
St. Vincent's Hospital Westchester in Harrison, NY maintains a strong dedication to excellence, positioning itself as Westchester's leading provider of inpatient and ambulatory behavioral health services.
We are currently looking for a talented individual to join our Patient Accounts Department in an Outpatient Billing role.
Responsibilities include:
- Follow-up on third-party billing, self-pay billing, and insurance claims verification.
- Facilitate communication between patients, billing department, and clinical staff to ensure accurate billing information.
- Handle electronic and paper billing processes.
- Accurately record all guarantor information, process payments, make adjustments, and maintain claim data.
- Reconcile posted payments.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma.
- Proficiency in electronic billing and computer skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Pay Range: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
